Falakata Uday Sangha Successfully Conducts Kabaddi Championship

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 24^th January, 2017: Falakata Uday Sangha organized the second Kabaddi Championship at its club grounds today. The inauguration was done by the MLA of Falakata Mr. Anil Adhikari. Apart from him, there was the Panchayat Pradhan of Guabarnagar Mr. Subhash Chandra Roy and other sports lovers of Falakata. In today’s championship, both Men and Women categories were present. A total of 8 teams participated in the championship. Falakata College became the champion and Falakata Venus Club became the runners in the Women’s category Kabaddi. On the other hand, Alipurduar Yuva Sangha became the champion and Falakata Venus club became the runners. In this context, the club president of Uday Sangha Mr. Manik Lala Guha and Secretary Mr. Dipak Lodh Roy told TNI that this championship is being organized to promote sports among the younger generations of this region. Till now there is a huge response from the local youth. The authorities of Uday Sangha have thanked the people for making the event successful continuously for the last two years.
